Utah

utah Travel Guide

Utah is an outdoor wonderland containing five of the most visited National Parks in the world: Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches, Canyonlands, and Capitol Reef. Zion National Park is the most famous of the five with over 3 million visitors per year.

Another popular outdoor destination is Park City which is famous for its world-class skiing and snowboarding during the winter.  Salt Lake City is the most populated city in Utah and home to Great Salt Lake State Park which is perfect for sailing, kayaking, and many more outdoor activities! If you’re looking for adventure, Utah is the place to go!

When to Go

The busiest time to visit Utah is during the summer months. However, the summer can be uncomfortably hot so, in my opinion, the best times to visit are during the shoulder seasons. March through May as well as September will bring less extreme heat while still having nice enough weather to enjoy the outdoors. These months will also bring fewer crowds and lower prices!

Travel Safety

I consider the US to be a generally safe place to travel.  Utah is just about as safe as any state in the U.S.  The main draws in this state are its National Parks and outdoors which are all generally safe destinations and great destinations for solo female travelers!
