Canada is probably most well known for its incredible natural landscapes. From majestic mountaintops to serene lakes, and frozen glaciers, Canada is bursting with adventures for every nature lover and hiking enthusiast.

In addition to the jaw-dropping scenery, however, Canada also has some gorgeous cities to explore.  Take a short ferry from Seattle, Washington, and explore the gorgeous European-style town of Victoria. Or head to the larger modern city of Vancouver. Check out Banff National Park in Alberta’s Rocky Mountains or head to Niagara Falls in Ontario. There are truly so many spectacular sights to see when traveling through Canada!

When to Go

Summer (June through August) is generally the best time to plan a trip to Canada.  It can be very cold and rainy during the fall and winter months.  However, if you are looking for a snowy escape, such as a ski trip to Whistler, then winter is when you’ll want to go.  December through February will offer peak snow conditions at Whistler but the snow tends to stick around through March as well.
