USA Travel Guide

The United States is the third largest country in the world as well as the most geographically diverse country in the world.  Because of this, there are so many options when planning a trip to the United States.

Are you interested in a tropical paradise?  Soak up the sun in Florida or Hawaii.  In the mood for a winter wonderland?  Frolic through the snow in Alaska or Colorado.  Feel like an adventure in the desert?  Explore the wonders of Arizona or Utah.  The diversity of one state to the next is what makes this country so unique. The only problem is choosing where to explore first!

When to Go

When planning a trip to the United States, you need to decide where you want to go and what you want to do when deciding the best time of year to go.  Since the country is so geographically diverse, its climate is also incredibly diverse.

If you’re booking a skiing trip, the winter months from December through February are generally the best time to go.  If your goal is to hit the beach, then the spring and summer months are your best bet. Generally speaking, May through August are the best months to visit for sunshine and outdoor adventures. However, this can vary quite a bit depending on which state you decide to visit!

Travel Safety

I consider the US to be a generally safe place to travel. However, when traveling to big cities, you should always research the neighborhoods and know which ones to avoid.

Further, if you are a solo female traveler, I would not recommend walking alone at night. Always use precaution if you decide to explore on your own at night.
